Malta · In the Footsteps of St. Paul
The island that welcomed the apostle after the shipwreck.
According to the Acts of the Apostles, Saint Paul was shipwrecked on Malta and welcomed by its people. The island keeps that memory in Saint Paul's Grotto in Rabat, in the bay named after him and in St John's Co-Cathedral in Valletta. It is a compact destination, with baroque churches and deep Catholic roots. It suits parish groups and language trips for young people.
