Rome
The city where the Church recognizes itself.
Major basilicas, catacombs, the general audience and the option of continuing to Assisi to complete the trip. The itinerary can combine the main visits with times of prayer and the group's own celebrations. Rome makes it possible to walk between nearby areas and spread the visits over several days. The link with Assisi works well as a peaceful close to the journey.
Suggested length
5 to 7 days (7 to 8 with Assisi)
Best season
Primavera y otoño. Julio y agosto son viables pero exigen adaptar horarios por el calor.
Group profile
Parroquias, cofradías, grupos de formación y viajes de fin de curso.
The destination, in detail
Rome requires planning: basilica opening hours, museum reservations, audience tickets, and distances that are underestimated. We work with Spanish-speaking guides who know the city from a faith perspective, not just an artistic one, centrally located or well-connected accommodations, and a pace that leaves time for prayer and not just for photography. The extension to Assisi adds two days of contrast: from the Roman bustle to the silence of the Porziuncola.
